Matcha Nice Cream

If you've never had matcha nice cream before then you're in for a special lil treat.

This stuff is oh-so-delicious but it's also SUPER healthy!

- 2 large frozen bananas
- 2 tsp. matcha powder
- 1/4 c. non-dairy milk (more if needed)
- 1 tbsp. coconut butter (optional)
- 1/4 tsp. spirulina (optional)


1. Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender or a food processor.

2. Blend until smooth and creamy (like ice cream!), scraping down the sides as necessary.

TIP: Start on a low speed and use your tamper (if you're using a blender) until it starts to come together. Then increase the speed, adding more milk if needed, and watch the magic happen.

How To Freeze Bananas

Freezing bananas for smoothies and nice cream is SO easy, You guys!

How To Freeze Bananas For Smoothies & Nice Cream

1. Use ripe bananas

2. Peel the bananas

3. Put the peeled bananas into a ziplock bag or tupperware

4. Put the bag into the freezer

5. Let them freeze for at least 12 hours (24 is best) 

6. When you're ready to make your smoothie or nice cream, break the frozen bananas apart with your hands and add them to the blender or food processor. (If they don't break apart easily, just leave them out on the counter for a few minutes to soften a bit.)

7. Enjoy!

Now go freeze some nanners so you can have the best smoothie of your life tomorrow.
